My daughter and her family have moved to Denmark from New York City. My 5 year old granddaughter is already fully bilingual. She's learning about Scandinavian folklore. She loves Nisse. When I saw Rima's "Nisse's Mother" I had to get it for her. It's beautiful. It'll help development her interest in local folklore. I'll frame it when I'm in CPH next month. We'll read Nisse folklore together.

One of my dear friends happens to be Norwegian and she introduced me to Nisse many years ago. I love the image of Momma cooking for her fellows hiding among the tree roots and the symbiotic relationship she seems to have with the tree. Exquisite detail.

I absolutely love this image. I am a Nisse mother too...my cat is called Nisse!
Rima’s art speaks to me on a deep mythic level and I am honored to be able to hang this piece in my home.

I love your art and if I could, I would buy 2 of everything- one for myself and 1 to gift.
Thank you for sharing your magic with me.

The colors of this Nisse Mother print are very vivid. There's plenty of border to play with hand decorating or using various mat sizes. Recycled paper was used for this print. It has a depth to it as well as being a pretty sturdy, lovely quality. I'm very happy with my sweet print!
