As a Forest Bathing guide, poetry and stories are part of my everyday happiness. This collection of books will prove a beautiful addition to my collection.

This bundle of books was a gift from me to myself. An indulgence. I am so very pleased with them and your service getting them to me across the pond. Tom's word weaving transports. I sank into deep mystery, and my heart went flying. There is a saying in my mother tongue...'Dôd yn ôl at fy nghoed'...which literally translated is 'Coming back to my trees', and means coming back to one's centre. I'm afraid I don't have the words to adequately explain how deeply impacted I was by this collection of books. They are truly like nothing I have ever read and the words resonate at a soul level. In addition to the actual writings, the material they are printed on, the look and feel of the books are exquisite.

I have the poetry collection displayed on a live edge juniper shelf in my greenhouse. I read a poem each day to the plants. It is such a gift to have these nestled into my home and shared with the rooted ones of this land. I also really love the handmade-ness feel of it all-Rimas art, Tom’s words, recycled paper, a workers co op to help bring it all into fruition. Thank you.

How fabulous to have a bundle of Tom’s wonderful chapbooks. I’m more than a little obsessed by ‘Sometimes a Wild God’ and can only keep rereading it before moving on to the other titles in the collection. I love that these little books are so portable too....I’m sure they will travel with me near and far.

These smart little books of poetry are the best thing I've spent money on in months and months. The poetry and illustrations crept into my being and are currently scrabbling around and making nests there. They make me cry, make me want to make things, and make me more than just a little bit afraid I might walk off into the big river's valley and not come back to the city. This is the good stuff. The very good stuff.

I have not yet read the books properly, just skipped through a few pages. However, the print quality and wordsmithing look to be superb - now I just need some uninterrupted time to enjoy. Many, many thanks !

Have loved the Hedgespoken storytelling on fb so decided to try some of the books. Loved them all but The Nettle Eater really resonated with me as I've gone through lockdown on Dartmoor - a very special journey.

Ive only just discovered Tom Hiron. ‘Sometimes a wild God’ isn’t like anything I’ve ever read before. I read it over and over again...it’s becoming like a favourite album that I just can’t stop playing. It sits between The Band’s ‘Big Pink’ and Public Image Ltd ‘Metal Box’. They all get better with every play....or read. Top Dollar Tom !

After setting the poem on the table, I noticed something had changed....

Sometimes a Wild God nourished my soul. I read it aloud to as many people would listen until giving it away to a person I love. Nettle-Eater is still haunting me, has me questioning my person truths and fictions. It shook me, making me more than just a little uncomfortable. The format in publishing is simply beautiful. I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the books, they are so inspiring and thought provoking, with gorgeous illustrations. I do feel that the story telling is very pertinent for the here and now.

I deeply loved both books of poetry - Sometimes a Wild God and Worship of Place are as deep an expression of my feelings about the divine as I’ve ever read. Nettle-Eater is trippy and thoughtful as well. Black Hat is a bit of the odd man out in this collection, but still worthwhile.

These little sized gems arrived promptly, even from across the ocean from England to Alberta, Canada. Was second of Sometimes a Wild God as the first was a gift. Well pleased with all four, and the words have begun to make their home in me. I am not a word-smith , but Tom's words seem to reach straight through to the me inside. I recently ordered Tom Hirons book collection and a print titled 'Weed Wife',by Rima Staines. I am so pleased with the things I bought. Toms books are a richly worded, shamanic experience. Nettle eater particularly spoke to me. The books also look beautiful, printed on recycled paper and card, giving them a natural, earthy feel. The Weed wife print drew me, as my path is that of a folk herbalist and the print depicts a beautiful mix of weeds and weed wife. What Tom and Rima do is so valuable and unique. Dipping into their creative offerings is always a profound, transformative experience for me.

This writing speaks to a longing in me to live a simpler, wilder life. Thank you

Tom’s words and Rima’s artwork are a beautiful combination. Each put together so thoughtfully. I keep thinking about these little tomes tucked in my bookshelves and in decades to come my children will stumble across them and be spellbound by their power just like I am.

Reading these books is like having somebody step inside my mind and translate all of my tangled fears and longings into words on a page. Primal, spiritual, magical, necessary. Thank you !

Oh, how I love these little books and this treasure of a printing press. I wonder if their diminutive size allows these poems and stories to better needle their way into my heart and soul. I am adding these gems to my teacher gifts for Christmas, but I'll have to order more for my library. They shipped quickly to the U.S., and communication was excellent.

Well, I bought this set as a gift for one of my sisters, but I just had to preview the books first. I, um, will be keeping these and getting her a new set. Truly wonderful little books in every sense of the word. Thank you! Griz
